The Electrical Systems Technology program at Pamlico Community College in Grantsboro, NC, provides training in the installation and maintenance of electrical/electronic systems found in residential, commercial and industrial facilities. The program offers hands-on training in basic wiring practices, conduit bending, equipment and setup, and industrial motor controls. Courses include AC/DC theory, codes and standards, digital electronics, diagnostics and safety. Graduates can earn a career readiness certificate or an Associate in Science degree and pursue careers in repair and maintenance, manufacturing, or as a utility worker or electrician.
